Refund policy

At Travel Ball Depot, we are committed to providing a positive experience for both buyers and sellers of baseball and softball equipment. Our refund policy is designed to protect both parties by ensuring clear guidelines for refunds, returns, and dispute resolution. By making a purchase or listing an item for sale on Travel Ball Depot, you agree to the following refund policy.

1. General Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted if the item:

  • Significantly differs from the description provided by the seller (e.g., incorrect model, size, or condition).
  • Arrives damaged due to improper packaging.
  • Does not arrive at all due to seller’s failure to ship.

Buyers must submit any refund requests within 3 days of receiving the item. Beyond this period, refunds are not guaranteed.

2. Refund Process for Buyers

  • Initiate a Refund Request: If your item meets the refund eligibility criteria, please contact our support team at [support@travelballdepot.com] within the eligible timeframe, providing order details and supporting evidence (e.g., photos of the item’s condition).
  • Return of the Item: If the refund request is approved, buyers may need to return the item to the seller. The item should be in the same condition as received, and it must be shipped back within 7 days of refund approval.
  • Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the refund is due to an error on the part of the seller or Travel Ball Depot.

3. Non-Refundable Items

Items generally not eligible for refunds include:

  • Items that match the description provided by the seller but are subject to buyer’s change of mind.
  • Items listed as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” by the seller.
  • Items with minor cosmetic flaws or normal wear-and-tear, as they are expected when buying used equipment.

4. Seller Responsibilities

  • Accurate Descriptions: Sellers are expected to provide honest and thorough descriptions of their items, including any flaws or defects. Misrepresentation may lead to refunds being issued at the seller's expense.
  • Timely Shipping: Sellers must ship items within the specified timeframe. Failure to do so may result in order cancellation and a refund for the buyer.
  • Condition of Items: Items must match the condition described in the listing. If an item does not match its listing, the seller may be responsible for the refund, including covering return shipping.

5. Dispute Resolution

In cases where the buyer and seller cannot agree on a refund, Travel Ball Depot may step in to mediate the dispute. Decisions made by Travel Ball Depot in these cases are final. Our team will review all relevant information, including item descriptions, buyer claims, and any supporting evidence.

6. Processing Refunds

Once a refund is approved, it may take 5-10 business days for the funds minus the selling fees to be credited back to the buyer’s original payment method, depending on bank processing times.
